You can't really 'floor it' precisely enough in that last 20% of travel or so every time in any consistent way as to make driving feel naturally sporty. Now heres the problem with the argument 'why dont you just press the throttle harder?' It is extremely hard to modulate a throttle that is poorly mapped like this. This was in my E-class which is probably a car made for old people and for comfortable, smooth, slow takeoffs. Anyone who has had a non AMG mercedes can probably attest to how absolutely dead their throttle pedals can feel for the first 30% of travel. etc.Ive talked trash about sprint boosters in the past too.
